Instructions for authoring an Origami Boat ENACT activity

The purpose of these instructions is to help you gain some experience authoring an ENACT activity and thus gain an understanding of what the ENACT app is capable of. Not all options are explored here; this demonstration just presents one set of media types.

1) Navigate to https://enacteuropa.com
2) Follow the links on screen to create an account
3) Once signed in, click on the 'Create' tab

Complete the form as follows.

Step 1. Origami Boat by your name (e.g. Origami Boat by Sarah)

Step 2. Where the form states "Select a media type from the menu below and use it to create an introduction giving a sense of the activity's context."
- choose: 'Interactive Video' and use the following YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8BKUULVzTc&list=PLjx8y1Rr4KYNBSa5FpEggRZbkAT_K35Rn&index=16&ab_channel=Cloughty
- on the 'add interactions' tab, use the buttons in the toolbar above the video to add a label stating 'here are examples of what experts can produce'.

Step 3. We will not add any optional content here

Step 4. Where the form states "Teach people important words used in the activity. Focus on tools, materials and actions. You can do this with 'Image Hotspots' with text and audio or a 'Course Presentation'."
- choose: 'Image Hotspots' then use the resources in the step_4 folder beside this document. There is an image (BoatVocabulary.png) which you should use for the background. 
- Next create 3 hotspots. One for the paper, one for the crease, and one for the fold. For each hotspot add an audio content item using the appropriate .mp3 file in the folder and also add a text content item labelling the content e.g. 'paper'.

Step 5. Where the form states "Create instructions demonstrating how to do the activity..."
- choose: 'Interactive Video' and add the YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSdQlu2mtIc&ab_channel=KingMrColin 
- on the 'add interactions' tab, as the video plays click buttons on the toolbar above the video to add text labels to help explain the process to the viewer.

Step 6. Where the form states "Test how much vocabulary users learned from your activity..."
- choose: 'Match Pairs' then use the resources in the step_6 folder beside this document.

Step 7. We will add an optional test here. Choose 'Image Sequencing' then use the resources in the step_7 folder beside this document. The images are numbered to reflect the correct sequence.
